The Head-to-Head mode, with league phase and knockout rounds, is back for the 2025/26 season in Bundesliga Fantasy Manager!

There are three possible Head-to-Head modes that you can choose from, each of which will pit you against a new manager every matchday:
- League mode
- Knockout mode
- League mode with knockouts
The league mode with knockout rounds combines the two other modes. At the end of the league phase, the best-placed managers will qualify for the knockout stages. The final will always take place as a stand-alone game on Matchday 34, but you can choose how many knockout rounds you wish play - this also depends on the length of the league phase. You will also be able to choose the starting matchday of your tournament, as well as the maximum numbers of managers you want to participate; any places that aren't filled will become byes.

The league phase:
In the league phase, you will face each participating manager once, with every matchday seeing you face another opponent. The winner of each duel will pick up three points, while both managers will earn one point in the case of a draw, just like in the Bundesliga.
Here's how Fantasy Manager works
The knockout rounds
The managers who qualify for the knockout rounds from the league phase will face another manager in a one- or two-legged tie - depending on the chosen option. The winner of the match-up will move on to the next round, while the loser will exit the tournament, until there are just two managers remaining.
In the knockout rounds, every single fantasy point from your players will count towards your total score. Should the two managers be on the same number of points at the end of the matchday, the following tie-breakers will decide the winner:
- Star player points
- Squad market value
- Random choice
