Josh Sargent makes first start for Werder Bremen
US teenager Josh Sargent was handed his first senior start for Werder Bremen against VfB Stuttgart on Friday.

The 19-year-old has impressed off the bench this season, scoring twice in just 137 minutes of first-team action, and coach Florian Kohfeldt saw fit to give him the nod ahead of fellow young gun Johannes Eggestein as well as the league’s record non-German scorer, Claudio Pizarro.
