
Jonathan Asp Jensen leaves Bayern Munich for Deportivo La Coruña
Jonathan Asp Jensen has left Bayern Munich on a permanent basis, switching to promoted La Liga club Deportivo La Coruña.
Lured from Midtjylland's academy in 2022, Asp Jensen's sole appearance for the Bayern seniors came under Thomas Tuchel in May 2024.
Prolific for the reserve team the following campaign, the Dane returned five goals and provided 11 assists in 23 appearances before moving to Grasshopper on loan in search of first-team football.
The 20-year-old midfielder went on to record eight goals and six assists in 35 league outings in 2025/26, helping the Swiss side avoid relegation.
Jochen Sauer, Bayern's director of youth development, said: "Jonny is a further example of how young talent continue to develop at Bayern. He's worked his way into professional football with great ambition.
"He took the next important step with a good debut season in Switzerland. It's just reward that he now gets to join a team in Spain's first division and gets to prove himself at the highest level. We'll continue to follow his development."
