Hamburg's Patson Daka sidelined with injury
Hamburg will be without the services of their Zambian forward Patson Daka for the coming weeks after he suffered an injury on international duty.
Daka started Zambia's 3-1 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying defeat Algeria on 25 September, but was substituted off at half-time due to a muscle complaint. The 27-year-old was left out of the squad for their subsequent fixture, a 2-0 victory over Togo four days later.
The forward, who has featured in all four of Hamburg's Bundesliga matches so far this season following his summer arrival, subsequently returned to Germany and underwent an MRI scan at the club's headquarters.
That revealed that he has suffered a muscle tear in his left thigh that will force him out of action for the coming weeks.
HSV are currently 16th in the Bundesliga table. After losing their first three games of the season, they picked up their first three points with a 2-1 victory over Cologne prior to the international break.
