Eintracht Frankfurt's Younes Ebnoutalib out for several weeks
Younes Ebnoutalib faces a spell on the sidelines after suffering knee ligament damage, his new club Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed.
Ebnoutalib, who joined from Bundesliga 2 outfit Elversberg earlier this month, was making his second appearance for the Eagles against VfB Stuttgart on Tuesday after scoring on his debut in the 3-3 draw with Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 16.
However, he was forced off after 20 minutes against the Swabians with what appeared to be a knee injury. After the match, head coach Dino Toppmöller said: "Things aren't looking too good for Younes. He took a knock, and then his knee buckled a bit."
Now, Frankfurt have confirmed the 22-year-old will be missing for several weeks after suffering a tear to his medial collateral ligament.

Eintracht added that the Frankfurt-born striker will undergo "conservative" treatment on the injury.
The news comes as a blow to Toppmöller and Co., who are currently also without injured top scorer Jonathan Burkardt.
Having won only one of their past eight matches in all competitions, Frankfurt travel to Werder Bremen next on Matchday 18.
