Following the draws for the UEFA Europa League round of 16, the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga has now confirmed the exact dates and kick-off times for Matchdays 26 to 29 in the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 in the 2022/23 season.

One of the considerations for these fixtures was that there are currently four Bundesliga teams competing in the UEFA Champions League and another three in the Europa League.

Among the fixtures confirmed this time is Der Klassiker between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 26, which will be played at 6.30pm CEST on Saturday, 1 April. Cologne and Borussia Mönchengladbach meet the following day (3.30pm on Sunday, 2 April) in their derby. The following matchday sees three fixtures between clubs competing in Europe as Dortmund face Union Berlin, Freiburg host Bayern and Bayer Leverkusen take on Eintracht Frankfurt. All those games kick off at 3.30pm on Saturday, 8 April. Matchday 29 opens with a Swabian clash between Augsburg and VfB Stuttgart on Friday, 21 April (8.30pm) before Dortmund welcome Frankfurt to the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday, 22 April (6.30pm).

In Bundesliga 2, current leaders Darmstadt take on fourth-placed Paderborn on Matchday 27, with the game played at 1.30pm on Sunday, 9 April. Matchday 28 includes a historic fixture between Bundesliga founding members and promotion hopefuls Kaiserslautern and Hamburg (8.30pm on Saturday, 15 April). The second-city derby between HSV and St. Pauli will be played at 6.30pm on Friday, 21 April to start Matchday 29.

Due to regulations preventing fixtures being played on Good Friday (7 April), there will be no matches in the Bundesliga or Bundesliga 2. Instead, there will be three top-flight games played on the Sunday of Matchday 27, with five in the second division.
