Corentin Tolisso: "Bayern Munich can catch Borussia Dortmund and win Bundesliga title"

Bayern Munich can close the nine-point gap to leaders Borussia Dortmund and claim a seventh successive Bundesliga title this season, says the reigning champions' Corentin Tolisso.

While Bayern have taken their time to build up a head of steam under new coach Niko Kovac, Dortmund hit the ground running with their new boss, Lucien Favre.

The current league leaders are the Bundesliga's only unbeaten team so far this campaign, and are nine points clear of second-placed Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bayern in third with two Hinrunde games remaining.

However, since losing to BVB in Der Klassiker on Matchday 11, Kovac's men have buoyed their confidence by clinching their place in the UEFA Champions League knockout stages with an unbeaten group-stage record, and they have picked up ten points from a possible 12 in the league.

Though their rivals have yet to hit a bump, Tolisso has no doubt Bayern will be there to take advantage when they do, and warned those writing the record Bundesliga champions out of the title race to not be so hasty.

"There's no crisis. It was certainly tough for a time when we had two or three defeats and draws. When you're Bayern Munich, you have to win every game," said the FIFA World Cup winner, who has been sidelined since suffering a knee ligament injury in the Matchday 3 meeting with Bayer Leverkusen.

"It was difficult, but things have been going better these last two or three weeks when we've been winning our games. We had a good result in Amsterdam and against Hannover.

"What we're doing right now is good. We have to keep going like that and we'll get back into it little by little. We'll go and get the Bundesliga title."
