The Bundesliga is back!
Summer means sun, time to go outside and have a kick about – but it also means the Bundesliga is on a break. It always feels longer than it actually is, but the Bundesliga is almost back as the stars prepare to take to the field and fans pack the stadiums again.
German football culture will return to the stands as soon as the ball starts rolling again. It all kicks off with the first highlight of the season as RB Leipzig host Bayern Munich in the Supercup on 30 July.
Then the league action returns on 5 August as UEFA Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt take on Bundesliga champions Bayern in the opening Bundesliga fixture of 2022/23.
The beautiful game as it’s meant to be. Over 50,000 spectators will get to watch Sadio Mane, Filip Kostic and so many more stars commence the new Bundesliga season.
