Bayern Munich register Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof in time for FIFA Club World Cup
Having already signed Germany internationals Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof on free transfers for 1 July, Bayern Munich have now agreed deals with Bayer Leverkusen and Hoffenheim to allow the pair to join the Bundesliga champions from the start of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Tah's impending transfer from Leverkusen, where he's spent the last 10 years, to Bayern was first announced on 29 May, as a free move upon the expiry of his contract with Die Werkself.
The deal for Bischof to make the switch from Hoffenheim under similar terms had been agreed back in January.

Both players were set to officially join on 1 July, once their contract at their respective clubs had lapsed.
However, the new Bundesliga champions have confirmed they have negotiated terms with all parties to bring forward the transfers by three weeks, allowing both to be registered in time for the Club World Cup.
"We're happy we could reach agreements with Leverkusen and Hoffenheim, and that both Jonathan and Tom are now part of our squad," said Bayern's board member for sport Max Eberl.
"Both will expand our options at the Club World Cup. We're all very excited for this new tournament in the USA, where we want to have a say in the title."

Bayern were understandably eager to get the deal for Tah over the line in time for the competition, especially with both Minjae Kim and Dayot Upamecano nursing injuries at the end of the season, and Eric Dier making the switch to Monaco.
And with the tournament curtailing clubs' pre-season opportunities, it will allow both Tah and Bischof to settle into the squad and find their feet under Vincent Kompany.

Bayern fly to the US on Tuesday and will be based in Orlando, Florida. They open their tournament against Auckland City in Cincinnati, Ohio on 15 June, before further group fixtures against Boca Juniors and Benfica.
