Bayern Munich's João Palhinha in transfer talks with another club
Bayern Munich have confirmed that midfielder João Palhinha is in talks with another club about a possible transfer away from the Allianz Arena.
Palhinha, 30, was left out of Bayern's squad to face Lyon in a pre-season friendly on Saturday as negotiations continue.
The record champions did not reveal the name of the club in question in the post on their German X (formerly Twitter) channel.
Palhinha made 25 competitive appearances for Bayern in 2024/25, albeit only nine starts, after joining the Bavarians from Fulham last July.
He helped Portugal win the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League in June, but played just once during Bayern's run to the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 quarter-finals.
