Bayern Munich reach 100-goal mark - new record within touching distance
Bayern Munich breached the 100-goal mark for the 2025/26 Bundesliga campaign in Freiburg on Matchday 28, leaving them within touching distance of the league's single-season record.
Bayern went into their encounter in Freiburg with 97 goals on the board, and reached triple digits thanks to a last-gasp 3-2 win in the Black Forest, with Lennart Karl hitting the milestone goal.
The century of goals means Vincent Kompany's side have now equalled the total set by the club's 2019/20 crop that won the Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League and DFB Cup treble under Hansi Flick.

Furthermore, they are now just one goal away from the league's historic record of 101, set by Bayern in 1971/72, and just two from establishing a new best mark.
With six more league fixtures to go in 2025/26, it seems certain that Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Co. will do so.
