Augsburg sign Han-Noah Massengo from Burnley
Augsburg have added Han-Noah Massengo to their midfield ranks, with the 24-year-old Frenchman signing a five-year contract at the club.
Massengo signs from English Premier League side Burnley after spending the second half of last season in his homeland, where he was loaned out to Auxerre.
A France U21 international, Massengo began his professional career at AS Monaco before moving to England - first with Bristol City and then Burnley.
He made 17 appearances in France's top flight last term and will wear the number four shirt for Augsburg.
“I’m happy to now be part of this great club," said Massengo. "Over the past few years, FCA have shown that players can really develop here."
He added: "The chance to play in the Bundesliga really excites me and I’m excited to get to know the stadium and the fans. My goal is to give my best every day and earn my place in the team."
