Happy New Year from the Bundesliga!
As Germany's top flight prepares to resume action with Matchday 14 on Saturday, the Bundesliga would like to wish its fans across the world a happy New Year!
After a brief winter break following Matchday 13, the Bundesliga is back on Saturday 2 January 2021, with second-placed Bayer Leverkusen's trip to Eintracht Frankfurt topping the bill in the early kick-offs.
There is plenty more to look out for as well. Schalke - after signing returning left-back Sead Kolasinac and led by new head coach Christian Gross - go in search of their first league win of the season at Hertha Berlin. The last of seven matches on Saturday then sees Leipzig travel to impressive promoted side VfB Stuttgart in the late kick-off.
Sunday 3 January is also action-packed, as fifth and fourth meet when Borussia Dortmund take on Wolfsburg. Defending champions and league leaders Bayern Munich then round out the weekend's fixtures with a home game against Mainz.
