The 2025/26 season has already seen some brilliant set-piece routines, with sides trying to improve their efficiency in a game of fine margins.

Gladbach's Wael Mohya made his first senior start last weekend, with coach Polanski saying he mastered the occasion "with flying colours". But there's much more to the 17-year-old forward, who is currently completing a year of voluntary social work. "He has a few obligations. He basically needs to go and work in the afternoons. It's not like he heads home after training and lies on the couch," the Borussia coach said on Thursday of the teenager who will be hopeful of another start in Munich.

Vincent Kompany produced a very short answer regarding his captain, who missed the last two games with a calf issue. "Manu is fit," the Belgian stated at Thursday's press conference. You can therefore assume he will return in goal on Friday evening.
