Machino blazes over
Looking to Immediately after Honorat equalised, Machino had a great chance to make it 4-3 when he found himself one-on-one with Omlin, but he shot wide of the goal. Gladbach defended recklessly and almost conceded a fourth goal!
86'
Honorat makes it 3-3!
The Foals equalise again! Honorat is played in perfectly by Kleindienst in the penalty area and finishes with his right foot into the bottom left corner. Dähne can't get to the ball and it's 3-3.
85'
Hard foul
Ivezić is shown a yellow card for a hard tackle on Pléa during a counterattack. The Frenchman then crashes into Porath at full speed. After a brief pause for treatment, both players are able to continue. Machino was shown a yellow card shortly before for taking too long to dry the ball with a towel before taking a throw-in, which the referee deemed to be time-wasting.
84'
From distance
Gigović's goal was the ninth long-range strike for the Storks in the Bundesliga this season; only heavyweight sides Bayern and Leverkusen have more dangerous long-range shooters in their ranks.

Stöger comes on
The Austrian is expected to revitalise Borussia's attack, which lost momentum after Kiel hit back to make it 3-2.

Rinse repeat
Gigović also scored in the reverse fixture in Mönchengladbach, meaning two of his five goals for the season have come against Borussia.
76'
Unbelievable! Kiel strike back!
The home side take the lead again! Gigović gets the ball on the edge of the penalty area and fires it into the bottom corner of Gladbach's goal at almost 120 kilometres per hour. Omlin can't get a hand to it and the Storks are back in front.
75'
On course for a record
That was Pléa's 11th goal of the season, leaving the Frenchman just one goal short of equalling his season record from his debut year in the Bundesliga in 2018/19.
74'
Fireworks to come?
After a strong first half and a 2-0 lead, a draw is far too little for the home side. But the two goals have left their mark. Rapp brings on Harres, a centre forward, looking to regain the lead.

No offside
VAR briefly checked the goal for offside, but no Gladbach player was in the prohibited area. And so it remains 2-2.

66'
Stunned
The goal has shaken Kiel's confidence in their ability to win this game. The home side have taken their foot off the gas and are now letting the Foals come at them.

Aerial prowess
That was Čvančara's second goal of the season - his first since the fifth matchday against Union - and once again with his head, after a pass from Hack.

54'
Gladbach start to push
Pléa drives the ball forward and Scally tries to dribble down the right wing, but Kiel's defenders shut him down emphatically and win the ball.
53'
Goalkeepers on fire
Dähne kept a clean sheet for the hosts in the first half with saves from Itakura and Hack, but Omlin has also had a good game despite conceding two goals, saving no fewer than five shots from Kiel.
51'
Almost a response!

43'

Enforced change
Tolkin, who had been impressive up to this point, is forced to leave the pitch injured after the collision with Ullrich. Porath comes on to replace him.
39'
Clash of heads
Hack takes the corner from the left into the penalty area. Ullrich and Machino collide heads and require treatment. However, both players appear to be able to continue.
37'
Talk to the hand
Čvančara tries to stop Kiel's next counterattack and hits Remberg in the face with his hand. Referee Hartmann shows him a yellow card.
35'
Another chance for 3-0!
Borussia Mönchengladbach are defending poorly and Kiel are playing sensationally well up front. A through-ball reaches Rosenboom just outside the visitors' penalty area. Ullrich is just behind him and manages to get a decisive touch, forcing the Kiel player to shoot just over the bar from 12 metres out. Kiel could already be leading by three or four goals at this point.
32'
Omlin again!
The Swiss goalkeeper is by far the best player on the pitch for the visitors. With another flying save, Omlin prevents a third goal from a great shot by Machino, who had shaken off Kleindienst and fired from the edge of the box.
30'
Cometh the hour
That was Bernhardsson's fifth goal of the season, with the Swede scoring three of those in the last four matchdays.

Emphatic from Omlin!

17'
World class from Dähne!
The Kiel keeper flies across his goal to tip a header from seven metres out following a free-kick from Hack. He then picks himself up to deny Reitz, who has rushed in to try and tackle the ball over the line from two metres out. Two brilliant saves from the Kiel goalkeeper!

Under pressure
Omlin, in the visitors' goal, is tackled in his own penalty area and kicks the ball too short into the centre, where Remberg is alert and regains possession for the home side.
11'
Good work!
Kiel are playing well here and manage to steal the ball from Pléa in the centre, then the home side launch a counterattack, but they also lose possession and Kleindienst pushes forward. However, the Storks are alert and clear the danger. An intense and focused start to the game from both teams.
9'
Another corner
Zec clears the visitors‘ next corner with his head, and Hacks’ subsequent cross is also cleared by Kiel with a header, but Gladbach remain in possession and are looking for gaps in the defence going forward.
7'
Over the top!
Chiarodia gets the ball in the Kiel penalty area after a hack corner. However, leaning back a little too far, the defender blazes over Dähne's goal.
6'
First approach
The visitors cross from the right into the penalty area, where Zec just manages to clear the ball away from Pléa. But the visitors keep pushing and are awarded the first corner of the match.
5'
First shot on goal!
Bernhardsson wins the ball in front of the visitors' penalty area and shoots. The ball hits Chiarodia's outstretched arm. Referee Hartmann lets play continue and VAR does not intervene.
4'
Ouch
In a duel with Chiarodia, Rosenboom gets the Gladbach player's arm in his face. No intention, but definitely painful. However, the Kiel player continues.
2'
Tracking back
Čvančara, who starts on the right for the not fully fit Honorat, skilfully clears another long, low pass from Kiel into touch. A good moment from the towering Czech.
