Full-time: Freiburg 3-3 Eintracht

What. A. Game. And what a finish to this match! After a relatively dull start to proceedings it would have been impossible to predict this scoreline. Knauff hit a double for Eintracht, who also had Marmoush on target. Freiburg fought back three times through Dōan, a Grifo penalty and Gregoritsch's header. Both teams then went for it at the death but the two teams will likely agree that a draw was the right result in the end.

Tuta off the line

The is sensational. Gregoritsch has the winner at his feet. He takes a touch, looks up and shoots. Trapp gets a touch but the ball still bounces towards the goal. Tuta is on his backside on the line, gets up and somehow clears!

What a finish!

It's pandemonium here! Ekitiké tries to win it with an overhead kick while moments later, Kevin Trapp is off his line and Muslija attempts an audacious shot from inside his own half. Trapp just about gets back to save.

Almost Gregoritsch

Big chance for Freiburg sub Gregoritsch. Sallai's searching pass from the left sees the Austrian striker back-pedalling in the box. The forward gets there, but can only head downwards, the ball then popping harmlessly into Trapp's hands.

Half-time: Freiburg 2-2 Eintracht

A fascinating half draws to a close at the Europa-Park Stadion. After a slow start to proceedings, Omar Marmoush's opener began a back-and-forth battle that saw Ritsu Dōan and Ansgar Knauff exchange goals. Vincenzo Grifo's penalty before the break has left this encounter delicately poised.

Eintracht lead ... again!

What a game this has turned into! Freiburg take a long throw and the ball drops into the Eintracht area. Frankfurt pick up possession and launch a lightning quick counter, with Marmoush controlling a long pass before holding up play. Knauff races into the area on the left and accepts Marmoush's pass before pinging a finish into the corner. Incredible.

Amazing! After such a slow start to this game, we've had two goals in the space of a few minutes! Eintracht give up possession after a throw in and the hosts work the ball down the right. Kalajdžić on a mission

Will Saša Kalajdžić get off the mark for Frankfurt in the Bundesliga today? The Austrian netted in the 2-2 midweek draw against Union Saint-Gilloise but he has yet to score after three loan appearances for Eintracht in the German top flight. The striker never managed to net against Freiburg in four games against them while playing for Stuttgart.

Toppmöller's view on Freiburg

"Freiburg are having a solid season, doing good work and are heading in the direction of European qualification. Anyone who knows Freiburg knows that they get into the game through commitment, desire and the willingness to fight. They're a very well drilled team who are awkward to play against."
