FULL-TIME!

It's all over at the Olympiastadion as Hertha deservedly make it three straight wins. The capital club rained on Friedhelm Funkel's parade as he took charge of his 500th game as a Bundesliga coach tonight - and they will no doubt be partying like it's 1979 after claiming their first top-flight win over Düsseldorf in 40 years.

SECOND HALF UNDERWAY

We're back in business in Berlin. Can Hertha hold on for their first top-flight win over Düsseldorf since 1979? And will we get a glimpse of former Fortuna man Dodi Lukebakio in this second period?

WHAT A TACKLE FROM MORALES!

Leckie has a great chance to set up one of his Hertha teammates from inside the penalty area, but his cross is brilliantly intercepted by the USMNT midfielder. Into the game's final 90 seconds...

INTO INJURY TIME

There will be four additional minutes at the Olympiastadion, but this one looks done and dusted.
86'

WHAT'S NEXT?

After the international break, Hertha will go to Werder Bremen and host Hoffenheim before a long-awaited capital derby against Union Berlin. Meanwhile Düsseldorf face Mainz and Paderborn before a local derby of their own, against Cologne.
84'

SELKE GOES IT ALONE...

... when he should perhaps have passed to a teammate. His effort is deflected over for a corner which comes to nothing.
82'

FORTUNA WANT ANOTHER PENALTY

The visitors are trying to convince the referee to have another look at a possible handball in the Hertha area, but he is unmoved, and instead they get a corner. Can Funkel's men set up a grandstand finish here?
78'

SELKE JUST WIDE!

Selke has come on for Ibisevic, and nearly nets Hertha's fourth after latching onto a neat ball forward - his attempt is just wide of Steffen's left-hand post. The hosts have just made their third change, with Mathew Leckie replacing the impressive Marius Wolf.
73'

GIEßELMANN OVER THE BAR

Free-kick for Fortuna in a handy position, but Gießelmann can't keep it down. Meanwhile USMNT international Alfredo Morales has just come on for the visitors, having recovered from a recent groin strain. He's just been booked for a late challenge on Grujic.
71'

FINK HEADS WIDE

Fortuna are trying to get a foothold in the game again, with  Gießelmann putting in a couple of useful balls from the left. Oliver Fink gets his head to one of them, but can't steer it on target.
65'

HERTHA FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS

The Old Lady are up to nine goals in their last three Bundesliga outings, after wins over Paderborn (2-1) and Cologne (4-0). They're around 25 minutes away from a third consecutive victory, which would move them onto 10 points for the season.
62'

AND WHAT AN IMPACT!

This is brilliant from Lukebakio! With his first proper ball, the Belgian skips through the Düsseldorf defence, riding several challenges before slipping a perfect pass between two defenders for Darida. The Czech simply has to slide it past Steffen for his first Bundesliga goal since February 2017.

HERE COMES LUKEBAKIO

The 22-year-old Belgian replaces Dilrosun for Hertha. Last term he scored 10 goals for Düsseldorf, including a memorable hat-trick at the Allianz Arena against Bayern Munich in a barnstorming 3-3 draw.
55'

CARBON COPY...

... of the first half, so far. Hertha are in control with Düsseldorf trying to get back into the game with rare counter-attacking opportunities.
53'

CLOSE!

Baker whips in a free-kick and Kasim Adams heads over the bar for Düsseldorf - that was a chance. Kaan Ayhan appeared to hurt himself when going for the ball alongside his fellow centre-back, but he's OK to carry on.
51'

DISALLOWED GOAL

It's almost 3-1 to Hertha as Darida feeds a lovely ball through for Ibisevic to slot home, but it's been ruled out for a handball by the Czech in the build-up.
47'

GRUJIC!

A stinging effort from Hertha's Liverpool loanee is palmed away by Steffen, but the whistle had already gone for a Fortuna free-kick.

HALF-TIME

A cracking half of football. Hertha came out all guns blazing in the Berlin rain, but it was Düsseldorf who forged ahead through a Hennings penalty, after Boyata had fouled Fink in the area. Undeterred, the Old Lady hit back through Ibisevic and Dilrosun, putting themselves back in the driving seat before half-time. The hosts are good value for their lead, having had 59% of possession and 11 shots to Fortuna's four.

AND DILROSUN GETS HIS GOAL!

This is a much trickier effort than the one he just missed! Vladimir Darida crosses in from the right hand side, and Dilrosun takes it first time on the half-volley, clipping it perfectly beyond the reach of Steffen for 2-1. He's now scored in three consecutive Bundesliga games.
39'

DILROSUN BLASTS OVER AGAIN!

It should be 2-1 to Hertha! Barely two minutes after bringing his side level, Ibisevic plays in Dilrosun with a gorgeous backheel, but with only Steffen to beat the 21-year-old thunders his effort over the bar. He really ought to have done better there.
37'

HERTHA LEVEL!

Not if Ibisevic has anything to do with it! This is no less than Hertha deserve, as Marius Wolf curls in an inch-perfect cross and the Hertha captain sidefoots past Steffen for 1-1. Game on!

40 YEARS WITHOUT A WIN

Hertha haven't actually beaten Düsseldorf in the Bundesliga since December 1979. Is their bad run of fortune against Fortuna set to continue?
34'

IBISEVIC!

Almost an immediate response from Hertha, as a ball is whipped into the Fortuna area and Mittelstädt squares it into the path of Vedad Ibisevic - the home captain can't quite get there on the stretch and the chance goes begging.
33'

HENNINGS STROKES IT HOME

Talk about scoring against the run of play! We've seen precious little from the visitors in this game, but they're the ones who lead just after the half-hour mark.

ANOTHER VAR CHECK... AND THIS TIME IT'S A PENALTY!

Fortuna get their penalty in the end, after a dangerous-looking challenge from Boyata on Oliver Fink.

NO PENALTY

The referee has had a look and he hasn't seen any foul play, so Hertha are awarded a goal kick. Fortuna have really improved in the last few minutes though.

PENALTY FOR FORTUNA?

Mittelstädt tackles Baker in the penalty area, but was there a foul? The referee is checking with the VAR...

GREAT REFLEXES FROM JARSTEIN!

Fortuna haven't carved out a single chance so far, but they could take the lead here, as a ball forward trickles through to Rouwen Hennings. He tries to take it around Rune Jarstein, but the Norwegian keeper does really well to stop him in his tracks - without conceding a penalty.
17'

DILROSUN OVER THE BAR!

Once again, Düsseldorf fail to deal with a Hertha set piece, as a corner comes in and the ball ends up at the feet of Dilrosun at the back post. He turns two defenders but blasts his effort over the bar from close range. Funkel's men showing a fair bit of indiscipline - they've committed five fouls in the first 20 minutes.
13'

DILROSUN TESTS STEFFEN

The young Dutchman got Hertha's opening goal at Cologne last weekend, but his free-kick is straight at Fortuna's American keeper. All Hertha so far.
10'

STARK TRIES HIS LUCK

Hertha centre-back Niklas Stark comes striding forward and gets a shot away, but it's deflected behind. There's a bit of pinball in the Düsseldorf area from the corner but the hosts can't get a proper sight of goal and it eventually comes to nothing. The visitors aren't dealing with set pieces very well at the moment!
5'

MORE CHANCES FOR HERTHA

Ibisevic has another go - with his right foot this time - after a free-kick just outside the Fortuna area is played to him short. Borussia Dortmund loanee Marius Wolf tries to connect with the resulting corner but the visitors finally manage to clear their lines. It's been a positive start from the hosts - confidence is no doubt sky high after that 4-0 win over Cologne.

HERTHA ON TOP

Already a first foray into Fortuna territory for the hosts, with a decent ball in for Ibisevic. The Bosnian gets up well but USMNT international Zack Steffen is there to snuff out the danger. The 24-year-old keeper has been one of Düsseldorf's standout performers this term - is he set for another busy night?

FOUR CHANGES TO IMPROVE FORTUNA FORTUNES?

Funkel has made no fewer than four changes after last week's 2-1 defeat at home to Freiburg. Captain Oliver Fink returns after injury, while Kasim Adams has been given the nod ahead of Andre Hoffmann in central defence. Wingers Nana Ampomah and Bernard Tekpetey both make their first Bundesliga starts.

ONE CHANGE FOR HERTHA

Ante Covic has only made one tweak after last Sunday's impressive 4-0 win at Cologne. Captain Vedad Ibisevic is restored to the starting XI after his brace off the bench, replacing Davie Selke.

500 NOT OUT FOR FUNKEL

This will be a special night for Fortuna coach Friedhelm Funkel, as he takes charge of his 500th Bundesliga game. A nice touch from his former club (2009/10) - they will mark the occasion by presenting the 65-year-old with a special Hertha shirt bearing his name and the number 500.
