Preußen Münster dismiss coaches Alexander Ende and Zlatko Muhović
Preußen Münster have sacked head coach Alexander Ende and his assistant Zlatko Muhović following the relegation-threatened club's 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Dynamo Dresden.
The result pushed Münster back into the relegation play-off position with eight rounds of fixtures remaining. They have won just one of their last 12 Bundesliga 2 matches.
"The club management had to assess the team's performances over the past weeks and months and came to the conclusion that a change of direction was necessary," explained Münster sporting director Ole Kittner.
"With Alex, our aim was to build a clear, long-term playing philosophy. This philosophy thrives on attributes that, in the current situation and following a difficult second half of the season, we were no longer able to bring onto the pitch.
"Looking ahead and aware that we can still achieve our season's goal [of survival], we have taken a decisive step in the best interests of the club."

Ende oversaw 26 Bundesliga 2 games following his summer 2025 switch from Verl (W6, D8, L12). The 46-year-old also represented the club as a player.
Münster U23 coach Kieran Schulze-Marmeling will oversee preparations for the Eagles' upcoming home fixture against bottom side Magdeburg.
