Klose's side came flying out of the traps in the second half, taking the lead through Justvan less than 10 minutes after the re-start. Nuremberg didn't take long to equalise through Scobel, before taking control of the half from that point on. The hosts struck back though, initially through an offside goal from Klaus, before re-taking the lead properly through their captain again, who calmy finished past Reichert after good work from Srbeny. With half-time moments away, Justvan pulled the sides level once more, equalising from close range against the run of play.
