BIG WIN FOR MAGDEBURG!
Well, what a second half that turned out to be and what a win for Magdeburg. They started the day bottom but now move out of the relegation places with a victory over high-flying HSV. As for the hosts, they'll be gutted to have not moved top today and it was that lacklustre first half that cost them in the end.
GOAL! LATE DRAMA?
Tom Sanne makes it 3-2 in injury-time, but surely HSV can't grab an equaliser?

GOAL! RIECKMANN MAKES IT THREE!
That should wrap up the points as Julian Rieckmann makes it 3-1 from close range.

GLATZEL GOES CLOSE
An angled cross to the back post from the left finds Glatzel peeling off, outmuscling his man and sending a header pack across goal but it bounces narrowly wide. Hamburg getting closer to an equaliser but they're running out of time.

MAGDEBURG STILL IN FRONT

Hold your horses, HSV's effort has been ruled out for an offside in the build-up. Magdeburg are still in front!
GOAL! HSV ARE LEVEL!
What a turnaround, Two goals in three minutes has hauled the hosts back on level terms. It's an incredibly lucky goal as Dominik Reimann parries a shot against Silas Gnaka and into the Magdeburg net. Harsh on the away side.

GOAL! HAMBURG PULL ONE BACK!
The hosts have halved the deficit thanks to Königsdorrfer, who turns home Ludovit Reis' cross from close range. Game on.
GOAL!1 : 2
In a bid to sharpen up their attack, HSV have brought on the league's top scorer, Glatzel. Amaechi and Benes are also off the bench. Can they find a way back into this for their team?
The visitors are making a bit of a mockery of their xGoals rating today, while Hamburg's tells you just how blunt they've been.
GOAL! MAGDEBURG TWO UP!
Atik, who teed up the first, now doubles Magdeburg's advantage. He's absolutely screaming for it at the back post and, just as it looks like the chance has passed, he finally gets played in and finishes beyond the 'keeper. A quick VAR check sees that he's onside and HSV are in all sorts now.
GOAL!0 : 2
BRIGHT START FROM DOMPE
Jean-Luc Dompe is lively down the right, running at his man and delivering a cross into the box that is, ultimately, cleared. A lot more positive, a lot more direct from the home team.
Can HSV conjure up a comeback?
MAGDEBURG GOOD FOR THE LEAD
The visitors take a 1-0 lead into the break thanks to Mo El Hankouri's 11th-minute opener. HSV - looking to move back top with victory - just haven't been anywhere near their best, while Magdeburg - who started the day bottom - have been excellent.

OVER FROM VUSKOVIC
Vuskovic has a shot at goal - HSV's first - but his free-kick from the right edge of the Magdeburg box safely soars over the bar.
HSV STRUGGLING IN ATTACK
The home side look short of ideas in attack at the moment and are yet to carve any chances. You have to hand it to Magdeburg, their game plan has been perfect thus far.

GOAL! EL HANKOURI!
The first shot of the game delivers the opening goal and it's lowly Madgeburg that strike first through Mo El Hankouri. It's a wonderful through ball from Baris Atik on the outside of his right boot and El Hankouri fires across goal from the right and into the far corner.

HSV WARMING UP
It was the visitors that made the brighter start in the first exchanges but Hamburg are now getting to grips with things. No chances at either end just yet, though.

GLATZEL ON THE BENCH
The big news from the hosts' perspective is that star striker Robert Glatzel makes it to the bench after injury. Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer continues to start in Glatzel's place, and is flanked by Jean-Luc Dompe and Sonny Kittel. Centre-back Sebastian Schonlau serves the first of a two-game suspension, meaning Jonas David partners Mario Vuskovic and William Mikelbrencis is in for the injured Moritz Heyer at right-back.
REIMANN BACK BETWEEN THE STICKS
There's good news for the visitors, with first-choice goalkeeper Dominik Reimann returning after missing the defeat to Eintracht Braunschweig last time out through illness. Tatsuya Ito drops to the bench and there's a rejig in attack, with former Hamburg man Moritz-Broni Kwarteng listed as leading the line.
