Freiburg are still without long-time absentee Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, with Bruno Ogbus also out, while Florent Muslija faces a fitness test to see whether he can play. Bremen, meanwhile, will have to make do without captain Marco Friedl and strike Keke Topp. Top scorer Jens Stage could also miss out as he recovers from a muscle issue.

Difficult start to 2025

Bremen have won just one of their seven games in 2025, the worst active run in the Bundesliga. Ole Werner and his players will be eager to turn things around as soon as possible, starting here.
