Moving it nicely
Nuremberg have seen a lot of the ball in these opening minutes and are passing it around well, with lots of their players getting early touches, which can only help them in these freezing temperatures.

Klose's view on Paderborn
"Both teams are in good form and have a similar style of play, so it will come down to small details. I want to get the lads out of their comfort zone. Many of them are going through a positive development at the moment, which is also a nice feeling for me as a coach."

Nuremberg's unbeaten run
Nuremberg recently also drew twice in a row: most recently a goalless draw against Kaiserslautern and before that a 1-1 draw against HSV. Prior to that, however, Nuremberg had secured three consecutive victories.
Paderborn looking to go one further
On the last matchday, Paderborn had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Düsseldorf due to a very late equaliser, and before that, there was a goalless draw against Braunschweig.

Still undefeated at SCP
Away at Paderborn, FCN has never lost: In the six competitive matches, the Franconians have won five times and drawn once. Only against Stuttgarter Kickers has Nürnberg played more often in the 2. Bundesliga (nine times) than in Paderborn (five times) without ever losing.
The Cup Duel
In addition to the ten encounters in the 2. Bundesliga, there was also a match in the DFB-Pokal in 2006/07: In the second round, the Bundesliga side from Nürnberg prevailed against the second-tier team Paderborn 2-1 after extra time - Robert Vittek scored the winning goal.
