USA international Julian Green joins Greuther Fürth from Stuttgart

USA international forward Julian Green has joined second-tier Greuther Fürth on loan from Stuttgart until the end of the 2017/18 season.

Green, who joined Stuttgart in January from Bayern Munich, had yet to feature in the top flight this campaign and makes the short trip to Fürth hunting for regular first-team football.

"I wanted a change of scenery," said Green, who scored for the USMNT in the Round of 16 defeat to Belgium at the FIFA World Cup 2014. "That's why I've decided to join Fürth. I hope to help the team and be able to show that I'm a central striker, who scores and creates goals."
