A remarkable season for both Timo Werner and his RB Leipzig side went to yet another level thanks his two-goal starring role in their 4-1 win at Hertha Berlin on Matchday 32.
The 21-year-old powered a header home early on, and took full advantage of a slip by Hertha keeper Rune Jarstein after the break to take his tally for the campaign to 19. He is four goals ahead of Mario Gomez and is on course to finish as the most prolific German goal-getter of 2016/17, after an inspirational display that helped confirm Leipzig’s place in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League next term.
His emphatic performance makes him a worthy winner of the Matchday 32 #BLMVP award!
