TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have completed the signing of Leicester City FC striker Andrej Kramaric on loan until the end of the season.

'It's my job to score goals'

"I'm very excited about Hoffenheim and the Bundesliga,” said Kramaric, who has represented the Croatian national team nine times, scoring three times. “I want to do my part to ensure that we stay up this season.”

The Sinsheim side currently sit bottom of the Bundesliga, registering just 17 goals in the first half of the season, but the 24-year-old believes the club’s position is not a fair reflection of their quality. “I watched some of Hoffenheim’s games and I have to say that I have no idea how they’re in last place,” said Kramaric. “I will do my best and I will be happy if we stay up in the league. It’s my job to score goals, but I’ll be happy if I don’t score as long as I’m helping the team be successful.”

Hoffenheim get the second half of their campaign underway on Saturday when they welcome Bayer 04 Leverkusen to the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar Arena.
