Mario Götze wants to become "a face of FC Bayern" and get back to his best form with the Bundesliga champions.
An adductor injury sustained while on international duty with Germany has sidelined Götze since October, just one of a clutch of problems that have peppered his Bayern career since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund in summer 2013.
Working his way back to fitness alongside the rest of Pep Guardiola's squad in Qatar, Götze told media he hopes to play an influential role in the Rückrunde and beyond.
"Of course I would like to become a face of FC Bayern and take on responsibility," said the 23-year-old, who has one goal in seven league appearances this season.
"For me, it's important to be fit, to be able to play and find my rhythm. I have a contract through to 2017 and I am happy and lucky to be at Bayern."
