Borussia Dortmund sign Marius Wolf from Eintracht Frankfurt
Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of highly rated attacking midfielder Marius Wolf from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 23-year-old, who enjoyed a breakout season with Frankfurt after joining from Hannover in January 2017, has agreed to a five-year deal at the Signal Iduna Park.
"My objective with Dortmund in the coming years is to be successful and, if possible, win a few titles," Wolf said.
Wolf was a key component of Frankfurt's impressive season, scoring five goals - including one against Dortmund on Matchday 9 - and providing eight assists in 28 Bundesliga outings for the club in 2017/18, as well as featuring in every match of the Eagles' triumphant DFB Cup campaign.
"Marius Wolf is a player with a lot of developmental potential and great perspectives," commented Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc. "The combination of his sporting abilities and his excellent mentality makes him a perfect player for Borussia Dortmund."
