Borussia Dortmund have reinforced their attack on deadline day, signing English youngster Jadon Sancho from Manchester City.
Sancho, 17, has put pen to paper on a permanent, long-term deal at the SIGNAL IDUNA PARK and will wear the number seven shirt vacated by Ousmane Dembele, who recently joined Barcelona.
"We're really pleased that Jadon Sancho, one of Europe's brightests young talents, will be a Dortmund player," said Michael Zorc, BVB sporting director. "We're convinced that we could help this still-young player to develop his game and - in the medium term - he will become a real addition."
The attacking midfielder was chosen as player of the tournament as the UEFA Under-17 European Championship in May, contributing at least a goal or an assist every game as England finished runners-up to Spain.
