Right on the stroke of half-time in Stuttgart, Christian Pulisic doubled Dortmund's lead and his own tally for the season. Dortmund eventually ran out 3-0 winners against VfB and Pulisic wrote the next chapter of his own stunning story this season.
Pulisic said it was an "amazing feeling" to have scored for the second week running and becoming the youngest player to have two Bundesliga goals to his name in the process. But he modest in the aftermath of his achievement.
"I just learned that if you want to score, you have to follow up the shots," he said after calmy slotting home the rebound following Henrikh Mkhitaryan's effort.
The USMNT international opened the scoring in last week's 3-0 win over Hamburger SV, becoming the fourth youngest goalscorer in Bundesliga history in the process.
