Now back at his other home in Germany, SV Werder Bremen, the 37-year-old returns to Munich this weekend in fine fettle. The Peruvian has scored five goals in the last three games to help Die Grün-Weißen climb into 13th and will be intent on furthering the club's survival push by securing a positive result against Bayern.
"It doesn't surprise me at all that he still has this quality," said Arjen Robben recently. "He's a really, really good player and it's a shame that he's left."
