Goalkeeper

Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich)

Cologne lost at home for the first time since April on Matchday 23, but the result might have been very different but for Neuer's super-human save to thwart Yuya Osako's goal-bound header with the game poised at 0-0. Bayern went on to win 3-0, with Neuer helping himself to his 11th clean sheet of the campaign.

Watch: Bayern's Martinez delights in Neuer's performance.

Defenders

Konstantinos Stafylidis (Augsburg)

Stafylidis opened the scoring in spectacular style against RB Leipzig. The Greek international also put in a superb defensive display to help earn Augsburg a well-deserved point.

Erik Durm (Borussia Dortmund)

Like Martinez, Durm put in a superb all-round shift in Dortmund's 6-2 win against Bayer Leverkusen.

Javier Martinez (Bayern Munich)

Immovable in defence and the scorer of Bayern's opening goal, Martinez did not put a single foot wrong in Cologne.

Watch: Highlights of Bayern's comfortable win in Cologne:

Midfielders

Sebastian Rudy (Hoffenheim)

The Hoffenheim captain lead by example against Ingolstadt, hauling his side level with a stunning 30-yard strike and inspiring a table-turning 5-2 win.

Arturo Vidal (FC Bayern Munich)

A danger throughout, Vidal was superb in the middle of the park against Cologne. He not only set up Martinez to give Bayern the lead, but created chance after chance in attack.

Ousmane Dembele (Borussia Dortmund)

It took only six minutes for Dembele to kick-off Dortmund's goal-scoring extravaganza against Leverkusen. The Frenchman registered six efforts on goal and laid on a couple of assists.

Fabian Johnson (Borussia Mönchengladbach)

The USMNT international netted twice in Gladbach's 4-2 victory against Schalke, and won 75 per cent of his attempted challenges.

Watch: Fabian Johnson reflects on a 'perfect week':

Forwards

Max Kruse (Werder Bremen)

In a veritable case of better late than never, Kruse struck twice in the final 15 minutes to give Bremen a crucial 2-0 win over rock-bottom Darmstadt.

Florian Niederlechner (Freiburg)

Niederlechner had his eye in against Frankfurt, registering two goals from just three attempts as Freiburg came from behind to record only their third away win of the season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund)

It was a weekend to savour for Aubameyang. His brace against Leverkusen took the Gabon international to 21 goals for the season and back to the top of the scoring charts. In doing so, he reached the 75-Bundesliga-goal milestone in a club-record 117 appearances.
