- Müller delighted to be top 'before Christmas party'.
- Ancelotti pleased Müller got on scoresheet again.
- Wolfsburg admit defeat was 'deserved'.
bundesliga.com rounds up the best of the reaction from both teams.
Thomas Müller (Bayern forward): "We’re top of the table, and that’s great ahead of our Christmas party. We’ve played some good football in our last few games. We want to continue in the same vein in our last two games of the Hinrunde, and be top at Christmas."
Carlo Ancelotti (Bayern head coach): "Our performance was good. We controlled the game after opening the scoring. We had a bit of luck with the goals. The players are really happy playing this system, but we can use both. I’m happy for Thomas Müller. He always does a good job on the pitch. The goal is good for him, but I don’t judge his performance only on goals. He worked hard for the team."
Mario Gomez (Wolfsburg striker): "It’s depressing when that happens. We went into the game thinking there was something in it for us - perhaps not a win, but maybe a point. That didn’t happen. The goals reflect the situation we’re in. You can’t say it wasn’t a fully deserved win."
Valerien Ismael (Wolfsburg head coach): "Congratulations to Bayern. It was a deserved win. When you go to Munich, you need self-confidence and good results behind you. The game went as expected, but we still managed to create the odd chance in the second half. Bayern were dominant. That’s not our yardstick."
