Bayern Munich confirm that Douglas Costa will join Juventus next summer
Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that Douglas Costa will join Juventus on a permanent basis next summer, after the Italian club activated their option to buy the 27-year-old Brazilian attacker.
Rummenigge revealed the news during Bayern's Annual General Meeting at the city's Audi Dome, in which the Bavarian giants announced a club record turnover for the 2016/17 season.

"Douglas Costa joined Juventus on loan last summer," Rummenigge explained. "And he will definitively join Juventus next summer for an overall fee of 46 million euros."
Costa joined Bayern from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2015 and made 77 appearances in all competitions for the record Bundesliga champions, contributing 14 goals and 27 assists. Next summer's permanent switch to Serie A will make him the most expensive sale in Bayern history.
