Hanover - Hannover 96, hoping to turn over a new leaf this season after narrowly avoiding relegation to the second division last term, were one of two Bundesliga clubs to stage their Media Day on Monday.
The event, which took place at the HDI Arena, was used to present the Reds’ new signings, take official photographs and produce exclusive media content for use throughout the upcoming campaign.
bundesliga.com rounds up the highlights…
Hannover Media Day: best bits
1) All churned up
The Hannover groundsman has got his work cut out after an action-packed few days at the HDI-Arena. 40,000 spectators rocked up to see music legend Udo Lindenburg in concert in Friday, before the Reds took to the hallowed turf for the #CornerKings challenge earlier this afternoon. Just as well, then, that Hannover kick off their season away to SV Darmstadt 98!

2) Seasoned pro
Media Days are nothing new for Hannover veteran Christian Schulz, but the 32-year-old defender admits they're always a welcome break from the more obvious rigours of pre-season training. As for his aims for the new campaign, he didn't give much away: "There are plenty of teams in the division on the same level as us. We'll have to see what we can do."
3) Fun-time Salif
As expected, Hannover's Salif Sane kept everyone entertained throughout the day. The Senegalese international defender was on fine form for the quick-fire Q&A and gave his team-mates plenty to laugh about on the pitch...

4) Sane acrobatics
Sane didn't even have to think about his answer when asked about his best goal. "Against Wolfsburg", he responded, and it's easy to see why. The 24-year-old's stunning bicycle kick helped the Reds claw back a priceless point in the relegation battle - and in the Lower Saxony at that. The 96ers eventually secured their top-flight status with 2-1 win over SC Freiburg on the final day of 2014/15.
5) Rain stops play
It's not just over at Wimbledon's All-England Tennis Club that the weather puts a very literal dampener on things. The #CornerKings challenge was in full swing at the HDI-Arena when the heavens opened and play was suspended, forcing one group of players to miss out on the flag-kick excitement altogether.
