Dortmund - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang admitted after his brilliant chipped spot-kick in the 2-0 success over Eintracht Frankfurt he had "planned to take that penalty for a while", although the BVB stars were in no mood for relaxing with a midweek trip to Munich for the DFB Cup semi final looming.

rounds up the best post-match reaction from the Signal Iduna Park.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang:

"I've planned to take that penalty for a while, and I said so to Marco Reus. I kept an eye on the goalkeeper and fortunately it went in."

Jakub Blaszczykowski:

"The key reason we won was that we scored two more goals than the opposition! In all seriousness, I think we played well today and earned the victory. Obviously, it wasn't easy, as Frankfurt were also good but we had more chances and probably could in fact have scored more goals. We countered really well after winning the ball back, which was a good sign. The game against Bayern will be interesting and we know we'll give everything to win in Munich."

Erik Durm:

"In the first ten minutes we were a bit slow but after that we managed to up our game. We were good going forward and scored two good goals. I think it was a deserved win. [Aubameyang] scored a great goal and he’s a really important player. We’ll take things game by game and see where we are at the end of the season."

Sven Bender:

"We've worked ourselves into a good position in the league. Now we're looking forward to the DFB Cup semi final."

Eintracht Frankfurt

Sonny Kittel:

"We had some chances in the first half but we had fallen two goals behind pretty quickly. It was hard to come back from that. The result is disappointing. We did well after the break but didn't create very many chances. After going 2-0 down, it's obviously tough to take something from here."
