Cologne - 1. FC Köln had plenty to cheer about after notching only their second home win of the campaign in Sunday's stirring 4-2 success over downcast Eintracht Frankfurt.

1. FC Köln

bundesliga.com finds out what some of the players from both sides made of the contest...

Marcel Risse: "Up to two minutes from the end, everything was perfect, but then we lost [Kevin] Wimmer to a red card and [Pawel] Olkowski also went off injured. But I think we're the big winners this weekend. I had to go for the near corner because there was a man blocking the far corner and it went in nicely. It was a very important win. The atmosphere in the stadium was fantastic today."

Timo Horn: "We needed a game like that. Finally we managed to win again at home, and we did so by scoring four goals. It'll do us a lot of good to have broken the dam at home now and pick up a big win. The only sour note was the red card for Kevin Wimmer, but we'll just have to live with that."

Anthony Ujah: "After my goal I was just so relieved. Hennes [the club's mascot goat] is my best friend!"

Eintracht Frankfurt

Stefan Aigner: "We started the second half well and could’ve taken the lead, but we missed a lot of chances. Then we let them hit us too easily on the counter-attack. [After this result] we're clearly not aiming for European qualification. We'll have to do better at home next time around. Köln deserved their win."

Alex Meier: "You never know what's going to happen, but unfortunately the same thing happened to us today as against Mainz [on Matchday 22]. We eased up again and then they made it 2-1. After that they killed the game off within five minutes."
