Mönchengladbach - High-flying Borussia Mönchengladbach have secured the signing of winger Thorgan Hazard on a permanent deal, with the 21-year-old agreeing terms on a contract valid until summer 2020.

in July 2014 on a season-long loan from English Premier League leaders Chelsea FC, but his impressive displays in the Bundesliga - where he has scored once and provided five assists - and in the UEFA Europa League convinced Gladbach to make the deal permanent. “In recent months Thorgan has shown how big a talent he is," Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl told the club's official website.
