Hat-trick hero Huntelaar named Player of the Week
Cologne -Klaas-Jan Huntelaarhas been voted Matchday 13 Player of the Week by bundesliga.com users after scoring a hat-trick in the Royal Blues'4-1 successover 1. FSV Mainz 05 on Saturday.
The Dutchman received 57 per cent of the post-matchday vote for his sensational display in Gelsenkirchen, as he broke the 100-goal mark in Germany's top flight with his second against the Karnevalsverein.
Harnik and Drmic among the goals
VfB Stuttgart forward Martin Harnik, who scored the first and last of the Swabians' four goals in their victory over SC Freiburg, earned 30 per cent of the vote. Finally, Bayer 04 Leverkusen striker Josip Drmic finished in third with 13 per cent. The Switzerland international replaced Stefan Kießling at half-time of die Werkself's clash with local rivals 1. FC Köln, and the switch paid off as the former 1. FC Nürnberg man bagged a second-half brace to help secure a 5-1 victory and lift Bayer into third.
