Frankfurt - In the wake of their eighth league defeat of the season, 2-0 to Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Dortmund's stars struggled to find an explanation as to how to escape the crisis that has left them propping up the Bundesliga table after Matchday 13.

Their Frankfurt counterparts, however, were understandably delighted after inflicting defeat on last season's runners-up.

rounds up the post-match discussion from the Commerzbank Arena...

Sven Bender

: We’re all really disappointed. The changing room was pretty quiet and it wasn’t pleasant. What can we really say? It’s just a really difficult situation for us right now. We've taken nothing again. We all know the gravity of the situation but we also know what we can do and that’s what we have to remember. We’re all grown-ups that can play football but we need to be able to fight as well. The important thing is that we stick together. Divided we’ll achieve nothing. We're lacking confidence on the field and it's a bad day.

Sebastian Kehl

: It's not quite going for us at the moment. We gave away two foolish goals again. We put a lot of pressure on them in the second half and had a few opportunities, but ultimately, it wasn't even enough for a draw. The disappointment is obviously massive.

Alexander Meier

: In the first half, we played really well, although Dortmund were a definitely a bit better in the second. We all fought hard and I probably should have scored a second. We've just got to keep collecting our points. It doesn't matter who has the most goals at the end of the season.
