Kreuzer relieved of HSV duties
Hamburg - Oliver Kreuzer has been relieved of his duties as Hamburger SV's sporting director only a year after being appointed by the northern Germany club.
HSV announced Kreuzer's release from his contract via a statement on their website.
"We have certain ideas about a reorganisation of our sporting areas and this decision is part of that," said the club's CEO Dietmar Beiersdorfer. "I informed Oliver Kreuzer of this decision in a one-to-one talk today. Regardless of this, we would like to thank him for his great dedication during his time at HSV. I would also like to thank him for the way in which he assisted me in recent weeks in the transition of the football club and with squad planning."
