Goretzka and Obasi back training with Schalke
Gelsenkirchen - FC Schalke 04 have received a boost by the return of Leon Goretzka and Chinedu Obasi to team training.
Nigerian forward , who has made 21 appearances for his country, is yet to feature in the current campaign having been sidelined with a shin injury since June, while Germany Under-21 midfielder , signed in the summer from Bundesliga 2 side VfL Bochum, has recovered from a bout of tonsillitis that had kept him out of action for two weeks.
Schalke head coach Jens Keller hinted he does not expect Obasi to be available for the Royal Blues' upcoming encounter at Eintracht Frankfurt, but he is planning to have Goretzka in the squad for the Matchday 13 clash at Frankfurt's Commerzbank Arena on 23 November.
