Mönchengladbach - Borussia Mönchengladbach's Max Kruse and Granit Xhaka praised the role played by team-mate Juan Arango in their 3-1 win over 1. FC Nürnberg, while the Bavarians' Josip Drmic was lost for words after yet another defeat.
bundesliga.com rounds up the post-match reaction from the Borussia Park...
Max Kruse: We made things very difficult for ourselves in the first half, but we knew they couldn't keep their high tempo up for 90 minutes. Juan had a great day today. Sometimes you have difficult days, but it's on those days that you need to show your quality.
Granit Xhaka: Nürnberg deserve credit because they were clearly the better team in the first half, but then we showed our character to turn things around. Juan then showed his individual class.
Patrick Herrmann: Nürnberg pressed really well in the first half and we lost possession a lot. But we were better in the second half, and we knew they would tire and we would find space. It might have been the worst we've played at home this season, but at the end of the day, the three points are what count.
1. FC Nürnberg
Raphael Schäfer: For 70 minutes we did everything right, so it's very disappointing for us. But you can see that the team is progressing. We're playing attacking football and creating chances. We just need to keep working hard and believe in what we're doing.
Josip Drmic: I can’t explain that result; it's a big disappointment. Now we need to analyse the game and see what we can do better. But we shouldn't forget that we did a lot of things right today.
