bundesliga.com rounds up the best of the post-match reactions...

Alexander Meier: We want to do as well as last year, that's our primary aim for the season, and today's goal helped us towards that. It was definitely my goal, I was aiming for the far corner but I'll certainly take it. We've got the Europa League again on Thursday to look forward to, which will be tough, and then Borussia Dortmund on Sunday which will be even harder. Vaclav Kadlec did well up top today, we're delighted to have him here - he's a good player.

Kevin Trapp: We pushed on another level since our good result in Baku [beating Qarabag FK 2-0]. The system worked well and the goals came at opportune moments. It's a relief to have three points on the board and we can forget the catastrophe in Berlin. We've been much better since, but there's a big week ahead of us.

Domi Kumbela: It's a big disappointment, and although we knew it would be a tough game, it doesn't make it feel any easier. It's imperative we start picking up points soon and win our next few games. Personally, I'm pleased to be back after my ínjury and try to help the side to open our account. People should cut us some slack, we've only just arrived in the Bundesliga and we know how hard it is. We'll get better.

Karim Bellarabi: I've been injured for a long time, but coming back here is like returning to a second home. There's no real pressure from expectations, it's a tough league but we'll improve again next week, that's for sure. Of course we're good enough, we're adapting slowly but surely.
