Bielefeld - DSC Arminia Bielefeld showed remarkable powers of recovery to come from behind twice and force a 3-3 draw with SC Paderborn 07.

The visitors went about their business quickly in the opening moments of the game and were ahead after a quarter of an hour when Mahir Saglik headed in at the back post. André Breitenreiter's men then doubled their lead straight after the restart as Elias Kachunga slid in a cool finish. Bielefeld looked short on ideas, but they were given a lifeline when Tim Jerat's deflected shot found the net.

A clumsily conceded penalty, converted by Paderborn’s Tom Schütz, then put Bielefeld two goals behind again, but the home side, and the fans, still believed. Roared on by the crowd, Rick ten Voorde made it 2-3 with a superly taken free-kick, before substitute Patrick Schönfeld lashed in the equaliser in stoppage time, sending the crowd into raptures.
