Dortmund - Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co KGaA, the parent company of Borussia Dortmund football club, have reached an agreement with FC Shakhtar Donetsk for the transfer of midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan to the Westphalian club.

Another new face

The 24-year-old midfielder is set to agree a four-year contract with BVB. The final details of the transfer are yet to be disclosed, according to the club website aktie.bvb.de

The Armenian international's imminent arrival follows the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from French club AS Saint-Etienne and Greek defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos from fellow Bundesliga side Werder Bremen. His recruitment means Dortmund's "activity in the 2013/14 summer transfer window is now concluded", according to the site.

Mkhitaryan was top scorer in the Ukrainian Premier League last season, with his 25 goals helping the club to the league title. He also featured in both games against Dortmund in the last 16 of the 2012/13 UEFA Champions League campaign.
