Injury worries plague Dortmund
Dortmund - Borussia Dortmund will be missing a number of key players when the reigning Bundesliga champions host SC Freiburg on Saturday (kick-off 15:30 CET).
The injured Mats Hummels (torn ligament) and Sebastian Kehl (broken rib) are definitely unavailable for the Matchday 26 fixture. Jakub Blaszczykowski, who has been troubled by his adductor muscles, and Marcel Schmelzer (shoulder injury) are both doubtful, while Sven Bender might not recover in time from a cold. "I spoke to him, he didn't sound well", said Dortmund's head coach Jürgen Klopp.
The absence of holding midfielders Kehl and Bender could see winter signing Nuri Sahin start for BVBfor only the second time since re-joining the club he won the Bundesliga title with back in 2011.
