Frankfurt am Main - Bundesliga fans in Poland can look forward to even more coverage with the launch of the Deutsche Fußball Liga's official Polish-language website, www.bundesliga.com/pl.
The DFL's latest online offering gives Polish fans access to everything they need to know about the Bundesliga. Its in-house team offer fan-orientated content providing Polish-speaking followers of the German game with up-to-date, detailed information on the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2. There will also be a particular focus on the Bundesliga's top Polish players, such as Jakub Blaszczykowski, Robert Lewandowski and Lukasz Piszczek.
"With this offering we hope to encourage an even greater enthusiasm for the Bundesliga among Polish fans, and for the German professional game to become even more popular in Poland. In tandem with our long-term TV partner Eurosport Poland, we want to entice more fans to follow the Bundesliga in what is a significant market for us," DFL Sports Enterprises managing director Jörg Daubitzer said. The website will be produced by the DFL subsidiary DFL Digital Sports.
Among other things, the new internet launch will feature Bundesliga player portraits and club reports, as well as post-match statistics, matchday galleries, videos and interviews with players and experts. There will also be regular updates on the German national team.
bundesliga.com/pl also has a dedicated, password-protected area for media representatives and broadcasters, allowing access to extensive match reports and data, as well as details of DFL publications and contacts.
