Großaspach's DFB Cup history

This will be only the fourth time they've made the first round of the competition. Their first entry came in 2009/10 against Stuttgart (4-1 defeat), with their remaining two involvements coming against FSV Frankfurt (2-1 defeat) and then Bayer Leverkusen last season (4-0 defeat).

Arminia Bielefeld's DFB Cup history

Bielefeld went all the way to the final as a third division side in 2024/25, where they were toppled by Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart. That was their first and only DFB Cup final, although they did reach the semis in both 2004/05 and 2005/06.
