After a goalless first 45, Musiala established the lead minutes after the restart, which Kane doubled not long thereafter. An absolute rocket from Davies before Olise got in on the act, netting either side of a Bodø/Glimt red card.

The midfielder strikes the ball first-time on the volley, firing it low into the ground, but once again Haikin is there, using his midriff to make the stop right on his goal line.

Another chance for Musiala! The No.10 fashions a shooting opportunity for himself with some fast footwork after receiving the ball on the turn from Olise. His effort is a powerful one, too, forcing Haikin to beat it away, but Bodø are first to the second ball to clear.

Bayern's U19 side also faced Bodø/Glimt today, but in the UEFA Youth League. The Bavarians won the game 6-1. The men's team certainly wouldn't be opposed to a similar scoreline themselves.

Bayern will face Bodø/Glimt for the first time in their history here but have come up against Norwegian opposition on eight occasions and are yet to lose, winning six games and drawing two. Bodø, meanwhile, have played German teams three times and are still waiting for their first victory.

Bodø/Glimt in Europe: 2025/26

The past campaign was Bodø/Glimt's best in their European history. After just sneaking into the top 24 of the league phase, defeating Manchester City along the way, they beat Inter Milan home and away in the play-off round to reach the least 16. There, they got the better of Sporting Lisbon 3-0 in the first leg, only for the Portuguese side to prevail 5-0 in the second leg after extra-time.

Bayern in Europe: 2025/26

Bayern were not far away from standing on the top step of the European podium last season. After finishing second to Arsenal in the group stage, they got the better of Atalanta and Real Madrid before losing to eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain 6-5 on aggregate in the last four. The first leg in that encounter, a 5-4 win for PSG at the Parc des Princes, was one of the most memorable games in recent history.
