There were incredible scenes at the BayArena on Matchday 29 after Bayer Leverkusen were confirmed as champions of Germany for the first time in their history. Club captain Hrádecký, already known for his love of celebrating with the fans, was again at the heart of this joyous moment. Once the dust and confetti had settled, we sat down with the Werkself’s Finnish goalkeeper to get his thoughts on winning a first Meisterschale, his roots, boss Xabi Alonso, his teammates and all those late goals.
